About:

A month-long event that runs from October 1st through October 31st. Participants are encouraged to contribute to open-source projects. Hacktoberfest is organized by DigitalOcean and GitHub.

Details:

This event was so much fun. We had a great turn out and the participant feedback we received was really positive.

I worked alongside Tech Workout Program Leaders from San Diego Tech Hub to organize the in-person event, coordinated with the participating organizations, recruited mentors, and designed promotional and information material.
